About Dillon on the Delaware

Dillon On The Delaware is the perfect get-a-way in the Upper Delaware River Scenic Byway.  Rivka Willick and Rona, her faithful Australian Shepard, decided to follow a dream and do something crazy.  They found a beautiful historic home built by one of the founding families on the Upper Delaware.  Beautiful location, classic home…but in terrible shape.  This was in 2020-the first year of Covid, so since the world was on lock down, it was the perfect time to follow a dream.  Rivka spent the next three and half years restoring the house and property. 

Rivka has been a professional storyteller for over 25 years and has seen the power of the arts, nature, and history bring people together and create community.  Covid, world events, and life online has pulled people apart and plunged us into isolated lives.  She created a space where people  can turn off the noise and connect with nature, history, creativity and each other.   

D on the D is evolving and the interests of everyone who visits, works, and stays in “The Old Dillon House will shape  what it becomes.  The traditional B&B has fun themed rooms, access to a vacationer's library, home cooked breakfasts, a game room complete with a stereo system and old vinyl.  Sit by the firepit or walk a path in the woods.   There’s access to the Delaware River, quiet places to sit by a mountain stream, and rocking chairs  on the porch. .  

Programs and activities include wellness weekend, drum circles, cooking classes, foraging, nature related activities, art creation sessions and unique group events.  We  also plan to have music and theatrical events.
